In this reaction, the newly created product is absorbed by the other products. For example, carbon dioxide combines with water, which can then be absorbed by the plants and animals living in the forests. The process is very simple, as it requires only the action of two or more elements.When we are talking about chemical equilibrium, we are not talking about the equilibrium of the atmosphere or the climate. That would be a relatively easy task. We are talking about equilibrium between molecules and atoms.In chemical equilibrium, the molecules and atoms have some relationship. For example, a molecule has electrons. If it has an electron, it is an ion, and if it does not have an electron, it is a neutral molecule. For example, carbon and oxygen, both have electrons.Equilibrium means that the proportions of the different elements or mol ecules stay the same during the process. So, it is quite a simple concept. There are several interesting facts about equilibrium. For example, it is the basis of most biological processes, because of its role in the metabolism of life.
